I Gave My Stories a Title but... An Author's Dilemma
"Tales My Ghanaian Grandmother Told Me" was the title I chose for my book of children's stories. No other title had occurred to me which unified four different tales. I did think at the time that this title might be misleading. So I included a Preface for my young readers in which I made it clear that the stories were not traditional tales retold but my own original creations. But in reality who reads... Wheelchair Users and Exercise
Even if you use a wheelchair exercise is vital to health. Making time amongst the continual stuggle of balancing ones life may be difficult but it is not impossible. Working out and balanced nutrition go hand in hand. Many people are simply not naturally attracted towards physical exercise. I asked myself after watching video clips of the Cuban dance company Danza Voluminosa (Voluminous Dance) most of whose dancers range in age from 23 to 41and all of them weigh more than 200 pounds. This group was formed in 1996 by Juan Miguel Mas, now its' director and choreographer. He says he is redefining the aesthetics of beauty and raising the awareness of heavy set people.
